In my company along with me 4 other folks also affected due to visa bulletin mess. I sent them an email on July 9th 2007 about flower campaign organized by IV to USCIS director. The sad part is no body showed any interest and did not bother to reply. They are also going to benefited by this decision. These people still beleive in Murthy and other lawyer firm updates. I really don't know how to make these folks interested in IV. Any ideas or other personal stories.

Hello Gurus,
I have filed my PERM through my employer and they mis-spelled my name wrongly. How can I correct this. Still my labor is in pending condition. My employer says we will change it once got approved. But is there a way to correct it before it gets approved?. Please advice me.

Is there any one in this situation?
1. Date is current(because of interfile) and received 2 year EAD
2. USCIS District Office IO cannot find whether the case is EB2 or EB3. Is it true or there any experiences?
3. Does any one know of any pattern of how long it will take to approve the case once its assigned to an Office?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

There shouldn't be a problem. There's your DOB, A# and photograph on the card to verify that the person is actually you.

My H1-B visa ended on December 31, 2009. I applied for a change of status to F1 visa on December 21st, 2009 towards the Spring 2010 (Jan 2010) semester. I received an RFE stating that I need to send a new I-20 for a valid future semester.
Assuming this new I-20 is for Summer 2010 (May 2010), my question is as follows - If my change of status to F1 gets approved and my semester starts 2 months later, am I allowed to legally stay in the country?

No. It goes to the attorney.
I had an RFE on a I765 last week, and it went to the attorney. I expect to get the card directly however. Strangely, the approved travel documents go to the attorney as well.
