The project and the CMs speech indictaed that Hydereabad will be a major city in 3-4 decades not just in India but the entire world. Its upto you, how you want to interpret that message from CM.
In the short term (few months probably), prices may catch up because of the hype that this is generating.
I am not in a position to give any suggestion on land price movements in India and especially Hyderabad is highly volatile.
If i were you, i would definitely wait untill the elections.

EB3_NEPA, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. They first use the regular EB3 numbers available.
Black_logs are you ABSOLUTELY sure that they eat into the EB3 numbers? On the Visa Bulletin, they have a seperate entry below the EB3. Just curious if we are getting this Schedule A thing correctly

All,
When this July bulletin was released, I had given the following points in that thread.
I am seriously considering this. Indian economy is going to go leaps and bounds and I dont want to miss out on that. And wait here in the whims and fancies and their ridiculous illogical visa bulletins by these people. They shouldnt harass and take Indians for a ride. We are paying our taxes and all the fees and what not. Still they prefer illegals over us.
Enough is enough. I have self respect.
Looking at this visa movement for the past year and the current economy, I am just giving up hope to get GC in this country folks.
I am seriously thinking about going back to India. The reasons I was proding over are:
1. Well.. first and foremost, no hope of visa movement in near future.
2. Employer uncertainty. The company is not doing too well.
3. Tough job market and US economy will drag like this for another 2-3 years.
4. If they lay me off, I will have to find another job first. I havent even applied for 485 yet, so no EAD and priority date is Feb 2008
5. Restart GC again which is another excruciating process - moneywise, timewise.
6. Wait again in the line for visa movement
7. No career advancement because cannot jump companies and I am already early 30's. (I am non-IT). Career is stagnant, company doing very small projects.
8. Cannot even think of having kids because job and life here is hanging by a thread.
9. Cannot buy a house in this market. Its not that I dont have money, was thinking, if I lose the job, I wont get much time to sell it off and I will have to incur losses.
10. India is doing well and going to to do well in the future.
Is anyone else thinking on these lines?

This makes a lot of sense and so does the fact that GC wait times for EB immigrants be considered as part of citizenship waittime after 140 is appoved.
I think that wait time should be counted from the PD, since it's really not my fault that my stupid LC is pending since 2002! So I don't see why someone waiting with I140 approved since, say 2004, should become a citizen faster then someone who only gets a change to file I140 in 2006. Not fair at all!
Applying for the LC, I believe, is a sufficient proof that a person intends to stay in the country.

My guess is that they moved the dates so that any one missed the train in jul 2007 will be able to file 485 and/or add spouses to the existing applications. Looks like it will remain there for some time atleast, may be till the year end.

LUD has little or no meaning. I have seen cases getting approval notice without ANY LUD. Don't stress out or hold your breath for it.

But checking my July 2007 I485 online status, it says it was last updated in Dec 2007..
Shouldn't we all have got recent LUDs or RFEs if all of us were recently pre-adjugated

I would say to follow your attorney's advice though I don't think of any issues with going for premium processing as you are with the same employer. My friend has recently filed I-140 under regular processing and got approval within 2 1/2 months. Just make sure if your attorney submitted porting request while filing new I-140 under EB2. All the best.

I am sorry for posting in here, but I was wondering if someone actually went in person to the Houston Consulate to get their passport renewed. Also, do we need to have any reason to attend in person at the Consulate such as emergency, etc.
I am from India and my passport is expiring on Aug 17. I read before in the forum that it is better to go in person to renew the passport. Any experiences please let me know.

Require 3/5 majority) HR.2669 is passed by both Senate and house and sent for conference to resolve the difference between house and senate versions and president is sure to sign the bill and thus would become the law in another few days. This amendment does not have anything to do with defence bill or with SKILL bill. Following is the actions taken by congress of HR 2669.
