Is there any reason why they find it difficult to process the available visa# for EB categories, but are able to process much more and then some for FB?
Is it because EB processing is more difficult?
Atleast they would not be able to use the "not enough funds" trump card for the next few years, with all the jul/aug filing.

I wasn't planning on porting my PD until I read this nonsense "Injunction" threat. I will now port my PD; GCTest - go and file your injunction. If you don't have enough balls to do that I can lend you one.
That memo/document you pointed out is an interpretation. We have already said that USCIS's interpretation is incorrect. We intend to correct this interpretation with this lawsuit.
Infact, it would be wrong to call this a lawsuit.
We are aiming for an injunction (or a stay order) in step 1 of the lawsuit that would prevent USCIS from working on any interfiling/PD porting requests.
If the injunction is with retroactive effect, all the EBs (not just EB3) who have ported their PDs will have their cases frozen. USCIS would not be able to work on them.
The remainder of the lawsuit can take its sweet time... the injunction should serve the primary cause.

I can't believe this is how it feels to be sooo close to achieving your dream - regardless of how hard we've had to fight.....
Congratulations to each and everyone of you in EB2-India and China that have been pushing and clawing your way (just like I have) to get your greencards. While my PD is a month away - I am so glad for you. Get ready to go on a loooooong break (mentally, emotionally, and physically if possible as well).
I have been saving up every penny of my disposable income (after the shopping and eating out and everything else!) to go do the things I've wanted:
Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
Spend 3 months with my family in India and Dubai
Go back to Culinary School
Go to Bordeaux and learn about wine
Become an amazing photographer (just like one of the members on this forum...)
The list goes on and on....
But most of all - I can't believe that the moment is here for almost ALL of us to be free of the shackles and really really live our lives. I'm proud to have participated in everything and hopefully we ALL worked to make this huge of a difference and will see this effort through to help all our colleagues stuck in the EB3-India and China mess....

I am done calling all listed republicans :) I thought they are the ones who mattered most as Dems are/will jump into the bandwagon sooner or later.
I am not sure if the senators will ever receive our heartfelt pleas and messages.I pray they do...

I talked to my lawyer and she didn't mention about any kind of delay so can you please give me some more details about this PIM and how does it affect the whole process and slow things down.

scorion PIM process is a new additional step that is now part of visa stamping process. if you read around here you will find out more about it but in short uscis office in kentucy has to scan and upload all your supporting documents i.e employement letter etc that you might have used to get an H1 approval. The embassy you will visit for visa stamping has to review all the uploaded doc's before stamping your visa. Now I read in one of the thread here that someone in chennai has been stuck for over 3 to 4 weeks after their visa intvw just because the PIM process is not done. Hope this helps. If anyone else wants to come forward pls. do so and take charge. Communicate with the northern CA foks and organize a combined call or seperate call. Contact each and every member in this thread and bring them together to work on IV agenda items as outliined on the link on IV homepage for chapters.

If you have made a contribution and posted on this thread or on the thread we had before your name should be on the list. We do not have an automatic way of updating this list once someone had made a contribution through paypal at this time. Every night I go through this thread, update numbers and names. I could have made a manual error and missed some names but once people have brought that to my attention I have been double checking and responding back to them. I know I am behind on verifying one or two contributions but I will catch up. I work long hours,take classes and I live 80 miles away from where I work. I wish I had more than 24 hours in my day. If you could help us with maintaining an accurate list that would be awesome.
