Hi,
1> Presently i'm working for company A and wants to transfer my visa to company B. After transferring my visa to company B, if i don't want to join immediately to company B and want to work for some more time in company A itself. Is this possible? If it is possible how many months i can hold my H1 visa of Company B or Max after how many month i can joinvto company B?
2> Presently i'm working for company A and i had a bond in India with this company an amout of $9000. if i leave the company within 1year I should pay this amount to the company. If i break the bond and join to other company, do i really need to pay this amount. Please help me.

My scenarios is this:
> Got approved H1-B petition and visa stamped till 31st July, 2011
> Traveling to US on June-15, 2011
> Planning to do a premium filing for an H1 extension once I am in the US - i.e. soon after June 15, 2011
1. Is there any rule that I have to be in the US for 8 weeks or so to apply for an H1-B extension?
2. Will there be some issue at the port of entry as I will have only 6 weeks left on my H1-B visa?
Appreciate any inputs on this.

Hi
I had contributed $1000 towards my FSA dependent care account in 2010.
Now, in order to claim this amount, both husband and wife should be working, this is not the case with me, as my wife was not able to find a job in 2010.
Will this amount be reimbursed to me by the FSA management company ? as my son went to a preschool, and i paid the school fees every month.

On November 27, the USCIS announced that they had received 58,900 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap. So there are 6,100 numbers remaining, correct? (Update: By December 4, the USCIS had received 61,100 H-1B petitions toward the 65,000 cap.) Not exactly. We have Free Trade Agreements with both Singapore and Chile which set aside 6,800 "H-1B1" numbers for nationals of those countries. Do the math: 65,000 minus 6,800 equals 58,200. How can we help ourselves to get 2 year AP ? IV admins, can you kindly share with us any info regarding this ?
I know at this moment everyone is looking at the stimulus plan and economy, but , in the mean time we can prepare ourselves with some plan of action...
May be we should push for 3 year EAD/AP . Our argument should be, if we are 3 or more years away ( like EB3 India is currently 2001 or something ), we should get 3 year EAD/AP
Not meant to talk only for EB3 community, but in general as well.
Any thoughts IVians ?

Can some one point to the correct link where you could get the list of H1 or Labor or I-140s approved for an employer based on the company name?

My wife had a H1B working for company A from 08/2003 to 07/2005 (from I-94) and she filed another H1B application to work for company B in 05/2004. She got the notice, stopped working for company A and started working for company B. However, she never got the aprroval notice for the second H1B application. Actually this case is currently still pending. She worked for company B until 07/2005 which is the expiration date of the first H1B. She changed to F2 later in 07/2005. I was wondering if there is any problem about status or employment authorization for this period of time from 08/2003 to 07/2005.

is this true. My mother came back last year using AP but she never got a new I-94. He AP was stamped and the validity of her stay here. So not sure if you will get a I94 or not. please eloborate.
