Unless some political goof up turns, economy seems to be getting brighter and brighter. This might help translate into more jobs and opportunities..

Does anybody know how to obtain F-1 curricular practical training if the Department does not offer any internship course? If anybody has gone through similar experience, please let me know.

Hello,
I have this situation and need some advice or if anyone can share their experiences.
H1b extension was denied with reason of "Employer-employee relationship". RFE was responded to (with requested pay stubs and W-2) and was still denied. Now, attorney from company is filing for MTR. How long does MTR processing take as the case was already existing? Does that matter or it doesn't? How long did it take to get a decision from CIS?
Is it possible to file MTR from company A (employer) and to file a new petition from company B (middle vendor who has direct contract with client)? Can the MTR be withdrawn in favor of a new petition?
Did anyone go for MTR and how many days did it take to get the decision?

USCIS should be able to respond to you within 15 days(premium processing time) after they receive your RFE response

I am on H1B and planning to go for CP. I have to fill the form DS-230 for this and submit to VSF office.
Currently I am on H1B extension and I don't have visa stamped for this extension on my passport.
In this form DS-230 I need to fill field name "Present Address".
I have following question:
- In this form what should I fill my present address
Indian address
OR
US address.
(what I think: I think when I will submit the forms to VSF I will be in india and at that time i will not have the valid visa to enter USA. So I think I should fill the indian address.)
What do you guys suggest?

Hello,
I joined and contributed already to the IV although I am not yet on the GC queue. I support you all with my heart.
I have a different concern about PERM filing. My application will be EB2 with Ms + 4 years as Senior Soft Eng, and my lawyer asked my manager to create the business necessity letter for MS degree. He is not experienced with this kind of paperwork and the lawyer seems to be just not helpful rather demanding... I was wondering if somebody in IV had to deal with this business necessity letter. Any information would be helpful...

Well seems like today both sides are going to blame each other for not having a bill today. Big question is - does discussions/negotiations re-start after the recess or is this issue pretty much dead. Most probably they will announce that they will re-start the discussion after vacation and provide the "most important legislation"...blabla... But what are the chances really? especially with new scandals beginning to take all the headlines. This is really frustrating and unfortunate. Lets see how the day goes.

I am silent visitor of this forum for last few months though, I seek some advice form you guys in forum. I just got I140(On May 5th 2008) approved and my priority date 23rd Jan 2004. As per the visa current bulletin I am with in the cutoff dates. I have job offer but I did not accept so far because I 140 was not approved but after I 140 I thought of changing the job (same offer) using AC21 portability, since I fall in current cutoff dates,
My question is this safe to change the job when priority date fall with in current cutoff dates?
